Marissa Latouche Journal 5

Yancey and Taczak define Reflection as a "mode of inquiry that a deliberate way of systematically recalling writing experiences to reframe the current writing· situation." Reflection enables writers to develop and improve with practice. As writers, reflection provides us to edit and correct our work to improve. In each key term, reflection is able to improve. For example in purpose, after a writer reflects one's work, it is clear to see how well the purpose is described. The author can see in their own work if the purpose is transcribed throughout the text. For my example, I used a reflection on a graph. On one side of the graph, this is the authors vision and the finished text. On the other side of the graph is what the viewer's read. The two sides should match up ad be understood by both sides.
